I got tired of watching political arguments online go absolutely nowhere. Twitter threads, Reddit fights, Facebook comment sections. Nobody's actually trying to convince anyone. It's just dunks and screenshots and people performing for their own side.

So I built the thing I wanted to exist: a place where you actually have to sit across from someone who disagrees with you and make a real argument. No mute button. No mob backing you up. Just you, them, and a structured back-and-forth that ends with a verdict.

1. You tell us roughly where you sit politically and what topics you care about.
2. We match you with someone who disagrees with you.
3. You go through opening statements, rebuttals, cross-examination, and closings, all timed.
4. An AI judge reads everything and picks a winner, with reasoning.
5. Your ELO moves. Win or lose, you've actually had a conversation.

Conduct rules live at /rules. Read them, the moderation system is real.

One person built this. One person runs it. That's me. There's no team, no investors, no roadmap meeting. If something breaks at 2am it's because I'm asleep, not because a ticket is in someone's backlog.

It's free, and it stays free. I'm not gating features behind a subscription. But it does cost actual money to run. Hosting, the AI judge calls (every debate goes through Anthropic's Claude), the database, TURN servers for video. So two things keep it alive:

• Ko-fi. If the project means something to you and you'd like to chip in, tips are always appreciated. Nothing gets locked behind it, every bit just goes straight to keeping the lights on.
• Ads, eventually. Small, between matches, nothing creepy. I'm not selling your data. See the privacy policy.
